In Conversation with Angela Findlay

A highly successful evening on Friday 11 April 2025 with over 120 attendees listening to Angela Findlay talk. Angela was brought up in Droxford having a German Wehrmacht general grandfather who had surrendered in Italy in 1945. On the approach to the 80th anniversary of VE Day, her deep exploration of the intergenerational consequences of war and guilt offers a different perspective on WW2 remembrance. Questions expertly posed by Chrissie Sturt, an award winning author, historian and former BBC reporter, aptly guided the conversation.
